Description
Spotted this sitting outside one of the many buildings at a favorite photographic hangout of mine, Wheeler Farm, Utah. Not much as fine art photographs go, until I noticed the leaves that had collected inside. I knew selective color was just the thing to put some warmth and country life back into this old Federal cast iron stove. I added a little more color and contrast to the leaves, that gave this classic wood burner the warmth and look of country life on the farm; flames from the hearth taking the chills out of ones tired bones, before heading outside to milk the cows.

Steven, one of the best utilizations of color isolation that I think I've seen! Works so well with your subject - the leaves are indeed flaming. Voted

This is just super good Steve. The warmness of the leaves, and the way they recede into the shadows is very effective with the black and white. Amazing job. f/v
