Greetings Gerald; As a working Photojournalist, I have covered many funerals, but this time it was a member of the family. The woman holding the flag asked me to document the funeral of her husband. It was a little hard, but my years of training kicked in, pushing aside my sorrow, allowing me to capture those fleeting emotional moments of grief and love. Thank you for your kind thoughts and for taking time to view this work, I know for some it may a bit difficult to experience. Regards - steve
